1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Important Notes:
  • Custom or made-to-order furniture: 30-45 working days from deposit confirmation
  • Large-scale projects: 45-60 working days, subject to design approval
  • Sample delivery: 7-14 working days

Processing times are estimates only. We'll notify you of any delays due to production or external factors.

2. Shipping Methods & Delivery Options

We offer several shipping options depending on your location and order size:

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are calculated based on:

  • Item size and weight – Larger items cost more to ship
  • Delivery distance – Local vs. long-distance rates
  • Service level – Curbside vs. in-home delivery
  • Order value – Free shipping may apply to orders over ₹10,000

4. Free Shipping

We offer free standard shipping on orders over ₹10,000 within India (excluding remote areas).

Free shipping applies to:
  • Orders meeting the minimum threshold
  • Standard ground shipping only
  • India (excluding remote areas) addresses

Free shipping does not apply to oversized items, white glove service, or remote locations.

5. Local Delivery

If you're located near us, you may qualify for local delivery:

  • Coverage area: within 25 km of our warehouse
  • Delivery fee: ₹500 (free for orders over ₹15,000)
  • Scheduling: We'll contact you to arrange a delivery window
  • Day-of notification: You'll receive a text/call on the day of arrival
Local Delivery Requirements:
  • Someone must be present to accept delivery
  • Please ensure your furniture will fit through doorways, stairwells, and elevators
  • Measure carefully – you are responsible for fit through entryways

6. In-Store Pickup

Skip the shipping fees with free pickup at our location:

  • Pickup hours: Monday–Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Notification: We'll email you when your order is ready (usually within 2-3 business days)
  • What to bring: Order confirmation email and valid ID

Please wait for your "ready for pickup" email before coming.

7. Furniture-Specific Shipping Information

Assembly

  • Some furniture requires assembly
  • Assembly instructions are included with each product
  • White glove service includes setup (additional fee applies)

Delivery Area Restrictions

  • We cannot be responsible for stairs, narrow hallways, or difficult access
  • If hoisting or special equipment is needed, you must arrange and pay for it
  • Notify us at time of order if you have access concerns

Packaging

  • All items are professionally packaged for safe transit
  • Furniture is wrapped in protective materials and shipped in sturdy boxes or crates
  • Large items may be shipped on pallets

8. Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship to: All major cities across India. Contact us for remote area delivery.

We do NOT ship to: PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, and certain remote locations. Contact us for confirmation.

Large item restrictions:
  • Some oversized items may only ship within certain regions
  • Remote areas may incur additional surcharges
  • Contact us for a quote if your location isn't listed

9. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive:

  • A shipping confirmation email
  • Tracking number(s) for your package(s)
  • Carrier information

Please allow 48 hours for tracking information to become available in the carrier's system.

10. Delivery Responsibilities

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery address is correct
  • Be present during the scheduled delivery window
  • Inspect items immediately upon delivery
  • Clear the delivery path of obstacles

Our Responsibilities

  • Deliver items in good condition
  • Communicate any delays promptly
  • Provide tracking information

11. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Inspect items immediately upon delivery
  • Take clear photos/videos of the damage
  • Report damage within 48 hours to support@woodfurn.com
  • Keep all original packaging for inspection

If your order is lost:

  • Contact us immediately at support@woodfurn.com
  • We'll investigate with the carrier
  • Resolution typically takes 5-10 business days

We'll work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or refund based on the situation.

12. Delivery Delays

While we strive for on-time delivery, certain factors may be beyond our control:

  • Carrier delays or service interruptions
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Port congestion or customs delays
  • Global logistics disruptions

If delays occur, we'll notify you as soon as possible with updated timelines.

13. Shipping to Multiple Addresses

Currently, we can only ship to one address per order. If you need items shipped to multiple locations, please place separate orders.

15. Order Changes and Cancellations

Before shipping:

  • Orders can be modified or cancelled within 24 hours of placement
  • After 24 hours, if the order is processed, changes may not be possible

After shipping:

  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled

16. Shipping to P.O. Boxes

Due to the size of our furniture items, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Please provide a physical street address for delivery.
